Terms of Use

Effective 6 September 2026. These terms apply to the hosted Graphden editor at app.graphden.dev, including the public demo, while it is free and in early access. By using it you agree to them. The service is provided by Artem Markov ("we"). Not yet reviewed by a lawyer.

1. What this is

Graphden Cloud is an experimental platform in early access. It may change, break, lose data, or go away. Do not run anything on it that you cannot afford to lose or that others depend on. Self-hosting the open-source version is always available and is the right choice for anything serious.

2. Your content

Everything you author — functions, graphs, branches, tests, applications — is yours. You give us a non-exclusive licence to store, execute, display, and back it up solely to provide the service to you. You can export it at any time (GET /api/export/graph). We claim no other right to it.

In the public demo, content is created in a shared organisation and is visible to other demo users. Treat it as public. It is deleted after one hour.

3. What you may not do

Do not use the service to:

  • attack, scan, flood, or otherwise interfere with any system, including ours;
  • mine cryptocurrency, run proxies or relays, or otherwise consume resources for purposes unrelated to building software on Graphden;
  • send spam or unsolicited messages;
  • store or distribute content that is illegal, infringes someone's rights, or is harmful to minors;
  • circumvent limits, quotas, effect grants, or authentication;
  • share your account or resell access.

Per-plan limits, effect grants, and quotas are enforcement mechanisms, not permissions: being technically able to do something does not make it allowed.

4. Suspension and removal

We may suspend or delete an account, organisation, or piece of content at any time if we believe it breaches these terms, harms the service or other users, or exposes us to legal risk — with notice where practical, without it where not. Where we can, we give you a chance to export first. Free organisations with no activity for 60 days are deleted after a further 14 days, as described in the Privacy Policy.

If you believe content on the service infringes your rights, write to abuse@graphden.dev with the URL and a description; we act on credible reports.

5. No warranty, limited liability

The service is provided as is, without any warranty of availability, accuracy, fitness for a purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of it, including lost data or lost profits. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

6. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Changes and contact

We may change these terms; we post the new version with a new date and email account holders about material changes. Questions: legal@graphden.dev.
